Welcome to our new Marketing Assistant, Lauren Jones


Lauren has recently joined the Enviro Solar Films team as a Marketing Assistant. She was excited to hear about this opportunity as she has always had a firm interest in the fascinating world of marketing, with ambitions to pursue a career in Digital Marketing, and eventually find success in a management-based role. Lauren is currently working towards a Business and Management degree at Aston University, with a year of industry integrated into her degree program.

The opportunity which arose at Enviro Solar Films was something which Lauren immediately showed a firm interest in, as she felt enthusiastic about working for an SME, as this would give her the scope to implement innovative ideas, which would have a genuine impact on the business achieving its marketing objectives.

Expressing an interest in gaining experience in blogging, creating engaging content which will give her the opportunity to convey to customers the convenience and sophistication which our unique product can offer.

Lauren felt keen to make new connections with potential customers on alternative social media platforms such as Linked In, Twitter, Instagram and Facebook as these are networks she had experienced in a previous role and feels that her time here at Enviro Solar Films will gain her valuable knowledge and insights into what it takes to run a successful business. She has expressed interest in keeping her role part time during her final year of university, as she feels she can still be an asset to the business, contributing to its success by exploring new methods of marketing and putting business theories into practice, whilst completing her degree.

Lauren has previously worked in the hospitality sector, within a Shift Leader role, part time during her studies and explained that the experience gained allowed her to identify the satisfaction and motivation that comes with exceeding customer needs; giving customers a unique experience, thus making the customer feel valued by the business. Lauren explained how she learnt' to appreciate the satisfaction which comes with encouraging customer retention, which of course drives business success.

Experience also in working for Aston University within Student and Employer Engagement, working in the Post Graduate team, focused on performing Market Research to identify what Post Graduates need assistance with, when applying for Graduate Schemes, and also employer engagement, which consisted of discovering employer needs, and helping with the recruitment process to ensure they have access to the best candidates for their business needs.

This work experience, knowledge and enhanced skillsets will be a major asset to our company and Lauren is both intrigued and excited for the future of Enviro Solar Films, and explained that she was  keen to part of the ongoing business development, after hearing of our success over Summer commented:-
